Release Notes

This release is the initial release of the Benchmark Toolkit.

Which File Do You Need

BenchmarkToolkitRedist.msi is intended for testers who want to create and run performance or stress tests. It includes a set of predefined scenarios as well as the ProgrammingModelProxy. You can create your own scenarios and run these as Visual Studio Load Tests. 99% of people will want this.

BenchmarkToolkit.zip is intended for developers who wish to create scenarios and redistribute these to end users. For example you may write a custom AX application, and then want to provide users the ability to performance and stress test your application on their hardware. You can use this to recreate the Redist.msi mentioned above.
